Our eyelash extensions are applied by placing one extension on one natural lash for an individual treatment or by putting a fan of lashes on one natural eyelash for Russian Volume Lashes. Your eyes will be closed for the duration of the treatment
Normally the procedure takes between 60-90 minutes.
Everyones natural eyelash growth cycle is approximately 90 days. The eyelash extensions will be applied to your mid cycle eyelashes, giving you at least 3 weeks of maintenanace free lashes. After this period your natural eyelaahes begin a new growth cycle and you will need to have a infill treatment.
Microblading is a semi-permanent brow tattoo performed with a small handheld tool, using a feather stroke technique to produce the appearance of fuller eyebrows or to enhance the natural features of the face. Microblading is a softer/more subtle cosmetic tattoo than some of older methods. Body tattoos use ink while cosmetic tattoo procedures involve pigmentsHow long is the appointment? Two hours on average. During your appointment we will consult with you the entire time ensuring we are on the same page. Much of the time is spent measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and color. The actual procedure itself takes 30min to an hour. The touch-up appointment will take about an hour.Is there a follow up appointment included? In order to ensure that the brows heal perfectly a minimum of two treatments are usually needed 6-10 weeks apart on average.
The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years maintain shape, color, and detail.
How often depends on a number of factors including:
We do all that we can to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Before the Microblading begins, a topical anesthetic is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic during the procedure. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it’s relatively pain free for most.
(PLEASE NOTE that if you are a frequent smoker, or have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)
You must avoid working out for 7 days following your microblading appointment. Light exercising is allowed (minimal sweating), but you must clean the tattooed area with lukewarm water as soon as you are done exercising. The salt in sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results.
As a precaution to avoid any complications, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant women.
To ensure the highest quality of safety, all of our tools are one time use only. ALL blades, hand tools, wipes, and any other product used during the procedure are disposed of as biohazardous waste after each appointment, giving each client peace of mind.
If you have an ideal shape and colour in mind, bring a few reference photos with you to your appointment.
You may fill in your eyebrows as you normally would so we can take into consideration the shape you desire.
If you regularly get your eyebrows shaped, waxed, threaded or tinted, please do so at least 3 days before your appointment.
If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you must wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
You must stop using Retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment and avoid using it for the 2 weeks following your appointment.
If you get Botox regularly please get that done no later than 2 weeks before your appointment. This is to ensure we can make your brows as symmetrical as possible.
Avoid chemical peels at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before and after your procedure. Do not come to your appointment with a sunburn. In this case, email us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or any blood thinning medication 24 hours prior to your appointment.
If you plan to go on a holiday, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 10 days after the procedure due to the aftercare maintenance.
Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in colour and more sharply defined. This will last 3-4 days. Do not panic! It is normal.
Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients, and will disappear within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may last around the eyebrow area for up to 3 days, but will not prevent working or socialising. The treated area may feel a bit like a sunburn afterwards but there should only be minimal discomfort.
The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true colour of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much colour has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6 weeks to see the true colour, as it seems to take on new strength, and it is only after 6 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done. Keep in mind that microbladed brows healed up to 30% softer than the initial colour.
Please note that final results cannot be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. The tattooed hair strokes tend to have a more crisp look once healed on dry skin compared to more blurry strokes on oily skin. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch-up appointment and make any changes necessary.
Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. Additional sessions (charged accordingly) may be required to obtain optimal results.
Fibroblast plasma treatment is a non-surgical lift procedure giving the same results as traditional surgery. It is safe and bloodless, without the need for anesthesia. It is virtually painless with anesthetic applied locally prior to treatment. A tiny plasma flash is administered to the skin in a micro-millimetre sized point. This superficial point minimises the skin in its immediate vicinity – which is intended to reduce the excess skin. Patients are able to notice results right away although it takes 2-4 weeks for full effect to be visible.
When activated, the machine creates plasma flash which travels from the tool’s tip to treated area. The tool itself never touches the skin however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon the contact. Further points are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. This in effect causes tightening of skin fibers. It is non-invasive treatment, no cuts to the skin or stitching is necessary and is completely bloodless and without unnecessary damages to surrounding tissues.
Fibroblast is non-surgical treatment with no pain or minimal discomfort reported by patients. Topical cream is applied to numb treated area prior to procedure.
Fibroblast plasma can be used for many different skin conditions. Eyelid tightening, body lifting, acne treatment, thread vein, scar correction, tattoo removal and stretch marks. If you suffer from any of the above conditions but have hesitated with traditional surgical procedures, then non-invasive Fibroblast plasma treatment may be the right solution for you.
After the procedure your eyelids and under-eye, will look and feel a lot smoother and excess skin will be clearly reduced; leaving your eyelids feeling lighter.
You can carry on with your day as normal, however it is very important to follow our after care recommendations. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched or removed. Drying skin by dabbing with a clean, lint-free cloth is allowed. Healing skin should be protected from direct sun with SPF50 cream. Sports, swimming and sauna are not permitted until crusts fall off. This should happen within 7 days of procedure.
Fibroblast plasma is very safe and side-effects are rare but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process and when correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. Mild swelling is expected during first 3 days and usually entirely gone by day 5. Majority of our patients do not report any of those after a week.
Hyaronic acid pen treatment is an innovation that penetrates hyaluronic acid fillers into the epidermis without needles or injections. Using pressure technology the hyaluron pen introduces a hyaluronic acid formula into the area creating an instant lift, glow and enlargement. If you want to augment your lips size, hyaluron pen is the best treatment to have. Very minimal pain, no needles, no injections.
Although the hyaluronic Pen treatment is a relatively new treatment, it is completely safe. Containing smaller effects and a more superficial target area, there is no risk associated with the treatment. Additionally, the completely non-invasive nature of hyaluronic acid pen lifting offers you the opportunity of providing lip augmentations with minimal pain involved.
Hyaluronic acid is the most hydrating substance in the world. A natural sugar that is present in your body, it provides skin tissue with the adequate moisture levels. As the human body creates this chemical naturally, it is impossible for you to have any allergic reaction to the hyaluronic acid treatments. At Dermillusion we use cross-linked hyaluronic acid because it lasts longer in the skin. Consider that HA is a natural component of every person’s skin. That means the human body has a way of producing HA and a way of breaking it down and cleaning it from the body. This building up and breaking down is a theme throughout biology to keep tissues fresh and healthy. If hyaluronic acid is attached to a number of other HA molecules, it cannot be broken down so easily. The result is a long lasting effect of the HA dermal filler in the skin.
As Lips are a particularly sensitive area this is a perfect treatment The more Hyaluronic acid you can get into your skin the better, you will have younger and fresher looking skin, but firstly hyalonronic acid is not in fact an acid it is a sugar that acts like a sponge and each molecule can hold up to 1,000 time its own weight in water. To sum up, hyaluronic acid’s role in the body is to keep your skin hydrated and plump. The higher the level present in the skin, the moister it is and youthful it looks.
If compared to injecting fillers (that the safety of Hyaluron Pen often gets compared to) it is totally safe. Why? Well, the most terrible problems with injections come, as we all know from blocked blood vessels to which an unfortunate treatment provider has injected some filler. For example, filling some large enough artery with thick enough substance can restrict some Oxygen movement to eyes and actually cause temporary or permanent blindness in the worst case. With Hyaluron Pen it is anatomically impossible to inject the substance even close the same way, thus there are no such risks. Also not to mention lip injections are very painful and expensive!
The results are temporary and last approximately as long as injection fillers, about 4-7 months. The body will gradually and naturally absorb the particles.
